As a new member of the BDA Executive Board, she also succeeds Peter Clever on the sdw Board.

The sdw warmly welcomes Christina Ramb as a new member of the Foundation's Board. The lawyer has been a member of the Executive Board of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA) since September and will also serve on the sdw Board in the same position, in keeping with the tradition. The Foundation was established in 1994 on the initiative of the BDA around the then Employers' President Klaus Murmann.

In both positions, Christina Ramb succeeds Peter Clever, who retired in the summer and had been a member of the sdw Executive Board since 2003. The lawyer is a proven labour market expert and, after working as a department head in the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, is returning to the BDA, where she was already active from 2002 to 2018. As a representative of employers, she was also elected alternate chair of the Administrative Council of the Federal Employment Agency in November.

"Labour market and education policy are inseparable. I am very pleased to be able to contribute my experience and knowledge as a member of the sdw board and to help shape the successful work of the foundation. Only with good and equal opportunity education policy can we succeed in making the skilled workers of tomorrow fit and empowering them to actively shape society - the many sdw alumni are impressive examples of this," said Christina Ramb on the occasion of her appointment to the Board.

Ingo Kramer, Chairman of the sdw Board and Honorary President of the BDA, emphasises the close ties between the employers' association and the Foundation: "We have been creating joint opportunities for over 25 years. For many of those years, Peter Clever has been actively involved in the foundation's work and has provided important impetus, for example in vocational guidance. We would like to thank him most sincerely for this! I am very pleased that we have now found an equally committed successor in Christina Ramb, with whom we can start the future together."
