Employer President Ingo Kramer proposes Dr. Rainer Dulger as successor – Election of the new Employer President on November 25, 2020

Ingo Kramer announced at today’s meeting of the Presidium of the BDA that he will resign from his post on 25 November. Ingo Kramer had already announced this in a letter to the presidium and board of the BDA on 19 September. At the same time, in consultation with the Vice Presidium, he proposed the current BDA Vice President, Dr. Ing. Rainer Dulger, as his successor. This proposal was unanimously welcomed by the Governing Board.
Ingo Kramer has been President of the BDA since 2013. Previously, he was chairman and negotiator of the North German metal and electrical industry and president of the State Association of Employers and Business Associations in Bremen and president of the Bremerhaven Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Dr. Rainer Dulger is the current Vice President of the BDA and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2003. He has been president of Gesamtmetall, the umbrella organization of 21 employers’ associations in the German metal and electrical industries, since 2012 and president of the Baden-Württemberg Confederation of Employers’ Associations in Stuttgart since 2014. Dulger, born in 1964, is married and has two children. He has been managing partner of ProMinent GmbH for more than 20 years. The company founded by his father developed into one of the world’s leading manufacturers in the field of dosing technology and water disinfection. Today, more than 2,700 employees work at the headquarters in Germany and at another 50 locations worldwide.
